how you can help
We greatly appreciate your support of The Center. With your help, we will continue to provide RECOVERY SUPPORT AND education for OUR students, regardless of their ability to pay.
Financial GiftDear Friend,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share an important opportunity that aligns with our collective vision for supporting youth in our community. At Florida Recovery Schools, particularly within our River Oak Center, we are committed to empowering and guiding the futures of hundreds of youth in northeast Florida. This year alone, we anticipate working with up to 200 students within our program school, along an additional 500 to 600 youths within the wider community. These young individuals receive vital counseling and recovery support tailored to their needs. I am proud to share that within our school, we have achieved a commendable 91% graduation rate among eligible students enrolled in our program. Furthermore, it is imperative to note that these services are extended to our students and their families without any financial burden. However, as the demand for our services continues to grow, so does our need for support. Currently, our monthly expenses are approximately $30,000, which we anticipate increasing to approximately $41,000 due to the rising number of youths seeking our services. To sustain and expand our impactful work, we rely on a combination of private philanthropy (60%) and public grants (40%). Considering the critical nature of our mission, I kindly ask for your thoughtful consideration in supporting our cause. Your generous contribution, whether in the form of a lump sum gift or ideally as a recurring monthly donation of $25, $50, $75, or $100, can significantly impact the life of one youth enrolled in our program. Your support is paramount in addressing this crucial community need and facilitating the continued success of our programs. I am deeply grateful for your consideration and support in advancing our mission. Warm regards, Dan Renaud Executive Director, Florida Recovery Schools, Centro de la Esperanza, 904.864.6463 |
gifts of timeBeyond financial contributions, the gift of your time holds immense value to River Oak Center. Our school is fortunate to be supported by an exceptional volunteer Board of Directors, whose dedication provides invaluable leadership, guidance, and essential assistance in organizing fundraising events. They actively leverage their networks to amplify our mission within the community. Additionally, we are grateful for our enthusiastic parent volunteers who generously donate their time, culinary expertise, and artistic talents to enhance our school events such as Open House, Teacher Appreciation Day, and Graduation ceremonies.
Moreover, our staff is continuously seeking engaging activities for our students during our Friday Fill-up sessions. If you possess a particular skill, hobby, or inspiring story that you would like to share with our students, we warmly invite you to reach out. Your willingness to contribute your unique talents and experiences can significantly enrich our students' learning journey. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you would like to be involved in shaping memorable experiences for our students. |
